The Beginning
A Father's Legacy
Masjid-e-Vali and the Issa Hikmah Centre in Blackburn were established by Zuber and Mohsin Issa — founders of EG Group — in loving memory of their father, the late Vali Issa (Raḥimahullāh).
The name "Vali" honours a man whose life was defined by compassion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.
Masjid-e-Vali stands as a tribute to my father's values of compassion, humility and service to others. He believed in the power of community, in opening doors rather than closing them, and in bringing people together regardless of faith, ethnicity or background. I hope that Masjid-e-Vali becomes not only a place of prayer, but also a place of unity, learning, understanding and lasting friendships for generations to come.

Opening Our Doors
The First Cohort
Madrasah Vali — the educational heart of the Issa Hikmah Centre — welcomed its very first cohort of students at the current Girls Madrasah Campus. What began as a new chapter quickly became something far greater than anyone could have imagined.
Rapid Growth
In less than three years, a single campus and a shared vision have grown into a thriving educational community that serves children as young as 3 and adults up to the age of 65. The trust our families have placed in us, and the dedication of every teacher, volunteer, and parent who has walked through our doors, has made this growth possible.
